 Grasslands Restaurant is our main catering outlet and is located by the Mansion House at the heart of the zoo. The restaurant is table service and offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for families, couples or solo visitors. Our menu is sure to suit most tastes, with a selection of freshly made pasta, salads, stone-baked pizza and seasonal dishes. Our Soil Association Bronze Food for Life Catering Mark means that our food is freshly prepared with seasonal and farm-assured produce. For the kids, the restaurant offers pizza, pasta and fish fingers with a choice of chips or salad. Our menus even come with a colouring in sheet, which is enjoyed by children and adults alike!

Normal Opening Times
Grasslands Restaurant is open from 11:30am until 3pm in the low season, or 3:30pm in high season.
All catering outlet opening times are subject to weather conditions and visitor numbers.
No picnics are permitted in the restaurant or café.
Special Dietary Requirements
Each of our restaurants and cafés have dedicated allergen folders, which detail the allergens of each menu item in that particular outlet. Food prepared onsite may contain milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts and tree nuts.
We recommend speaking to a member of our staff before ordering who can help suggest the best dishes or alternative options to suit your needs.
