The Gannet
The heart of food and drink at Edinburgh Zoo
The Gannet is our largest dining space, a relaxed and welcoming restaurant serving freshly prepared food all day. It’s the perfect spot to pause, refuel and plan your next adventure.
Gannet menuThe menu features comforting classics, seasonal dishes, nourishing bowls, hot sandwiches, small plates and showstopping desserts made with ingredients from trusted Scottish producers, including Isle of Arran ice cream, artisan cheeses and breads and the best of the season’s harvest.

Something new is taking shape at Grasslands. We’re reimagining this space to bring a fresh and exciting food experience to Edinburgh Zoo, opening later this year.
Snacks, kiosks and picnic spots
You’ll also find snacks, drinks and ice creams available from kiosks across the zoo, ideal for refuelling as you wander between animal habitats.
