Watch as our flamingo chick takes its first wobbly steps

Our adorable week-old Chilean flamingo chick has been spotted taking its first wobbly steps. Under the watchful eye of its parents, the chick was seen stretching and taking several tentative steps before sitting back down for a well-earned rest.
Hatched on 4 September 2025, the chick is our first for nine years. Our expert keepers are very excited by the chicks arrival as it marks a major milestone in our breeding programme.
