Giraffe keepers meet top Giraffe About Town sculptures The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s giraffe keeper team met some of the public’s favourite sculptures from Edinburgh Zoo’s Giraffe About Town trail ahead of this weekend’s farewell event where the full herd will be displayed together for the first and last time.

‘Endangered Scotland’ and ‘Tammie Norie’ were two of the city’s favorite designs on display this summer and the wildlife conservation charity hopes they will be just as popular at auction, raising vital funds to help create a world where nature is protected, valued and loved at a special event on Tuesday 4 October.

Would-be bidders can find out more and register to attend the auction in person or online at giraffeabouttown.org.uk/auction. There is also still time to enter a prize draw to win one of the sculptures with a unique panda theme at crowdfunder.co.uk/p/win-your-own-giraffe.
