Wildlife on the rocks

Budongo Lecture Theatre

Friday 10 April

18:00 - 20:00

Price(s): Adult £15, Adult member £12

Join us for an exclusive evening talk where you will hear all about the latest conservation research we are doing from leading experts at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS)!

Learn about the science behind protecting endangered species, with insights from the experts working both in the lab and out in the field. Discover how genetics research and fieldwork generate conservation action for threatened species across the globe.

From international partnerships on some of the most elusive small cats in Central Asia and wildcats in Scotland, we’ll be showcasing a selection of animals we’re conserving, what makes them both extraordinary and important to save and the people working to help them.

This event is for adults 18 and over, with complimentary drinks provided on arrival (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available). This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about conservation or simply interested in discovering more!

This event will be led by experts from the RZSS Conservation team with time for a Q&A at the end and will take place in the Budongo Lecture theatre at Edinburgh Zoo. Access will be available from 6pm at the members’ gate entrance.
