Memories Week

Step back in time at the zoo and rediscover its most treasured memories. During this special week, we’ll be hosting an exhibition in Lemur Lodge that celebrates the zoo’s rich history through rare photographs and stories that capture generations of wildlife encounters and community moments.  

Awe at zoo photographs from our archive and play dress up in our old-fashioned zookeeper uniforms! We’d also love to hear from you - we’ll have an audio recording station where you can leave us your favourite zoo memory, and members of staff will be on hand to see what fantastic bits of zoo history you have. Please bring along your old photos or items that hold special zoo memories to you, we’d love to see them!
