The Terms and Conditions below apply to the Crowdfunder Win a Panda Keeper Prize Draw.

By entering the prize draw you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you wish to enter the draw for free, please see the full terms and conditions below. All entries have an equal chance of winning.

• Panda Keeper for a Day (individual prize) is not suitable for people aged under 16
• Up to five participants can take part in the Meet the Panda Keeper and Tour of Black and White Animals (family/friends prize). Participants need to be aged five and over to participate in animal feeds
• Both prizes are unsuitable for anyone with relevant phobias or known allergies, pregnant women or immunocompromised individuals. Every effort will be made to accommodate additional needs, but due to practicality and health and safety this may not always be possible 
• Both prizes must be claimed by mid-October
• This monthly prize draw is promoted by Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS), a charity registered in Scotland no SC00406
• The prize draw is open to all aged 18 years or over, excluding RZSS and associated partner’s employees and their families, RZSS board members or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw
• Each £5 donation will act as an entry into the prize draw. You can also purchase ticket bundles from our reward list
• You may make several entries to the prize draw but only one prize will be awarded
• All entries must be submitted via crowdfunder.co.uk or by sending a postcard/letter with your name, email address, postal address and contact number to: Development Team, Edinburgh Zoo, Edinburgh EH12 6TS
• The prize draw is free to enter by post
• The prize draw will close at the end of the month, and the winner will be randomly selected through a draw performed by a computer process on the first working day of the following month.
• The winner will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) up to seven days after the Draw Date. If a winner does not respond to us within 10 days of being notified by us, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and we will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above
• You must notify us of any changes to your contact details and we may require proof of your identity
• These Terms and Conditions and the prize draw will be governed by Scottish law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts
• If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid by any rule, law, regulation or order of any government, or by the final determination of any court of competent jurisdiction such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid
• We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or modify the prize draw and/or the event if circumstances beyond our control make this unavoidable at any time (and for any reason) without notice
• We must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid prize draw took place. It is therefore a condition of entry that the winners agree to their name and county of residence being made publicly available if they win. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, you should contact supportus@rzss.org.uk. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request
• We may ask you to take part in promotional photography to share news about the prize draw. Images may be used in press releases, printed publicity, social media and our website. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let us know on supportus@rzss.org.uk
• You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions
• We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the campaign where it becomes necessary to do so
• Insofar as is permitted by law, RZSS will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize. Your statutory rights are not affected
• Entries received after the closing date will not be entered into the prize draw
• RZSS will only use the information you provide to select and contact the winner of the campaign and for processing your donation, unless you agree to further contact from us. For more information on how we use your data please see: https://www.rzss.org.uk/privacy-policy/

The Prize

• Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate you on your preferred date, we cannot guarantee the first choice of date will be available. Please do not make any travel arrangements prior to confirming your experience. RZSS will not be responsible for any changes to travel, accommodation or any other costs incurred if dates are unavailable
• The prize must be claimed by mid-October
• The welfare of the animals in our care is one of our top priorities and our expert keepers and vets may recommend altering the experience if needed, and either finding a suitable alternative or booking in for a different day
• RZSS reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any booked experiences for reasons such as severe weather, staff shortages, and animal welfare reasons. We will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible but please be aware that cancellations may occur on the day of the experience for reasons beyond the control of our charity. RZSS will not be responsible for any travel, accommodation, or any other costs if a date is cancelled
• We will require at least five days' notice to book your experience.  Winners will be contacted by RZSS with details of how to book your experience. Winners will be asked to email supportus@rzss.org.uk with your preferred days
• Please allow 14 days' notice if you wish to cancel or rearrange your booking
• The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash or credit alternative is offered
• Normal zoo entry terms and conditions apply
• If you have made a donation of £15 and above, please contact supportus@rzss.org.uk with details of the name you would like displayed at the panda enclosure
  • For £15 donations your name will be included on the TV screens at the panda enclosure and will be displayed for one month.
  • For donations of £75 your name will be on a paw print near the enclosure and will be on display until the end of the year.
  • For donations of £500 you can have your name and a short message of no more than 40 characters, on a paw print near the enclosure and will be on display until the end of the year.
  • We will aim to get all names displayed in the zoo shortly after each monthly Prize Draw comes to a close. There might be a slight delay with the paw prints but we will keep everyone updated on progress
