As part of your visit to Edinburgh Zoo this winter, we invite you to visit Mrs Claus for storytelling in our Mansion House and enjoy a warming hot chocolate and Christmas cookie too!

In small groups to allow for social distancing, ‘bubbles’ will be seated to hear all about the time Santa crashed his sleigh at Edinburgh Zoo and how the animals helped get him back on his way!

Storytime with Mrs Claus is available at 4 time slots per day (12.45, 13.30, 14.15 & 15.00) on selective dates from 20 November – 24 December. Each time slot last approximately 30 minutes and has a limited capacity to ensure each ‘bubble’ can be appropriately distanced.

Please note you must book Edinburgh Zoo admission tickets in conjunction with your Storytime with Mrs Claus tickets. Follow the below guidance to ensure you have everything you need to visit Mrs Claus on the day!

Step 1

We recommend checking our Storytime with Mrs Claus availability first to see if we have dates and times available:

Step 2

Once you know we have Storytime with Mrs Claus availability on your preferred date, please head over to our website to ensure that we also have zoo day admission tickets available – check tickets on your preferred date.

Step 3

Once you are sure that we have both your Storytime with Mrs Claus slot zoo admission tickets available on your preferred date, please go ahead and book both.

On the day, your zoo day ticket confirmation should be presented to our admissions team, and your Storytime with Mrs Claus tickets shown to our elves at the Mansion House.

Please ensure you arrive at the Mansion House no more than five minutes before your chosen time slot to minimise contact with others. Unfortunately, we do not have waiting space inside the Mansion House for early arrivals and cannot accept walk-ups. The maximum group size per booking is 6.

Adults and children aged 5 and over should wear face coverings in the Mansion House and santinise their hands before entering.
