Spiders: Fight Your Phobia Workshop – Terms & Conditions

  • Participants must be emotionally and mentally able to take part in this workshop. Please consult your GP if you have any concerns.
  • Regrettably, guests with certain medical conditions will be unable to participate in Keeper Experiences including: people diagnosed with schizophrenia and epilepsy. Please contact Edinburgh Zoo for advice prior to booking.
  • Zoo entry terms and conditions apply.
  • The phobia workshops are non-refundable and non-transferrable unless due to exceptional circumstances (illness/injury, pregnancy or bereavement). This will be at Edinburgh Zoo's discretion and proof must be provided.
  • Edinburgh Zoo reserves the right to reschedule any of the booked workshop dates. Edinburgh Zoo will give as much notice as possible; however this cannot always be guaranteed. If Edinburgh Zoo cancels your workshop and no other dates are suitable, a full refund will be issued to the purchaser.
  • Edinburgh Zoo reserves the right to alter the workshop on any given day due to animal welfare or health issues or a change in the Zoo's collection, but Edinburgh Zoo will ensure the workshop content is not adversely impacted by any changes.
  • One guest of the participant is allowed to accompany them to the session, but will not be allowed to participate in the sessions. They will also not be allowed to walk around the Zoo, unless they pay for entry.”
  • Daytime Zoo entry is included in the cost of the workshop. Guests of participants will need to pay for entry if they are arriving before 1.45pm.
  • Participants and guests must be 16 years old or over.
  • Anyone who uses the member’s discount must bring proof of membership.
