This summer our Mansion House bistro is offering a delicious 2 Course lunch for £10 per person. There is a selection of choices from the daily menu, such as soup of the day, beer battered haddock and homemade sticky toffee pudding.

Rumble in the Jungle!

Hungry as a lion? Come to our new Jungle Cafe!

Our new Jungle Cafe, formerly Oasis, is now open!  With a whole new theme and look, there is something to tempt everyone, from home-cooked pizzas to freshly baked cakes. 

The Cafe, named following a competition on Real Radio, is fitted out with a soft play area so parents can relax while the children run around.  An ideal filling station when visiting the Zoo! 

A new year, a new Mansion House

The new and much-improved Mansion House is now open.  With its opening, we are proud to announce the opening of our exciting new restaurant, The Bistro, located in the Macmillan Room. 

We look forward to welcoming you with excellent service and delicious food in the luxury of this beautiful house. 

With the opening of The Bistro, we are delighted to welcome our new Head Chef: Graham Watson.  He has over a decade of experience and has worked in the prestigious New Club, Edinburgh.
 
Graham is very passionate about using local produce, the best possible ingredients and preparing all food fresh that day.  Brand-new menus have been created for the Mansion House restaurant and Bar, and once you have sampled the food for yourself we are sure you will agree it is in a whole new class! 

The Bistro

Open from noon and located on the first floor of the Mansion House, you can enjoy stunning views of the city and the Pentlands whilst indulging in a traditional afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones and cakes.  If you have worked up a hearty appetite, our new Bistro Menu is for you. 

The Mansion House Bar

Also open from noon, the lounge bar offers tea, coffee, freshly made hot and cold sandwiches, tasty homemade soup and a selection of cakes. Perfect for a quick pit-stop before carrying on with your visit to the Zoo.

As Spring begins, the lighter evenings draw in and the temperature warms, how about you sit back, relax and enjoy afternoon tea at the Mansion House.

You can view the stunning gardens whilst enjoying freshly baked cakes and filling sandwiches, prepared to perfection.
