Kids Go Free with Scotrail
Have you ever thought about getting the train to Edinburgh with the family to visit the Zoo? It’s quick, easy and an environmentally-friendly way to travel!
Edinburgh Zoo is taking part in Scotrail’s “Kids Go Free” promotion. When you show your Scotrail “Kids Go Free” train ticket at Edinburgh Zoo, one child per paying adult will get in completely free! It’s a great way to reduce your carbon footprint and have a fantastic family day out.

Sky Trail Rope Walk
Think you’re as nimble as the chimps? See what it’s like to swing from the trees and walk across ropes 4 metres off the ground at the UK’s only Sky Trail®, only at Edinburgh Zoo!
The Sky Trail® rope walk structure holds up to 32 people, and each rope walker is fitted with a full harness for safety.
Skytrail is currently only available, weather permitting, on weekends for the Autumn/Winter season
