Sand Zoo!
During July and August, we will be creating a masterpiece in sand. We will take some of the animals who have been a big part of our history, and create a life size sand sculpture in their image.
It will be an art extravaganza unlike anything seen at the zoo before.
We will also set up a beach where you can relax and play in the sand.
You will be able to see the sand sculture free with zoo entry. You can see the process of them being carved in the first and second weeks of July and the end result from the end of the second week in July.
