We are open every day of the year, including Christmas Day, from 9am until:

Edinburgh Zoo is committed to educating our visitors about the wonder of our animals with a number of educational talks and activities taking place throughout the day.

Other times to note:
Weekend only guided walkabout tour at 9.30am from top of the stairs in front of the sea lion enclosure.
- Rainbow Landings is open from 12.00pm to 3.00pm & weekends: 10.00am to 4.00pm (last entry 15 minutes before closing)
- Budongo Trail is open from 9.00am to 4.15pm. (last entry at 4.00pm)
- All animal houses close 15 minutes before the Zoo closes.
