Entry to the Zoo Terms & Conditions
- Online tickets and Giant Panda viewing slots available include Adult, Child (3 - 15 years)
- Concession (Senior Citizen, Student) and Family ticket (2 Adults + 2 Children, 2 Adults + 3 Children, 1 Adult + 2 Children and 1 Adult + 3 Children)
- Children under 3 years are admitted free to Edinburgh Zoo however please include them when booking a Giant Panda viewing slot.
- You must have a working printer before purchasing tickets as bookings shown on smart phones will not be accepted
- Tickets are only valid for one entry to Edinburgh Zoo and one viewing session
- We cannot guarantee that the Giant Pandas will be on show whilst you are visiting the exhibit
- There is no charge for Giant Panda viewing
- Tickets bought online are non-refundable and non-transferable and accordingly may not be sold or passed to any third party. Please note that if you require to change the date of your booking we will charge an administration fee.
- It is the purchaser's responsibility to check prior to the conclusion of the purchase that the information supplied in respect of the online ticket is accurate. If inaccurate information is supplied this may result in additional charges or voiding of the online ticket
- Entry to Edinburgh Zoo and Giant Panda Viewing will only be granted on presentation of a print at home ticket. These tickets are the responsibility of the purchaser. All online print at home tickets must be printed on A4 paper and be clearly legible
- You must arrive at the Giant panda enclosure at the time you have selected
- If you miss your booked time it is very unlikely that we will be able to reallocate another slot
- If the outside temperature is -5C or +25C the giant pandas will have access to their internal house and may not be on show
- Tickets must be purchased 24 hours before intended visit and must be used on the day selected at time of purchase
- Online tickets cannot be used with any promotional or discount offers
- Due to extreme weather conditions we may have to close Edinburgh Zoo
- Tickets held for collection can only be collected on the day of your visit. The cardholder must collect the ticket in person with the card used to purchase the tickets
- Any additional visitors wishing to enter Edinburgh Zoo with someone who has purchased online tickets will be required to pay the standard entrance fees
- Proof of entitlement for certain ticket types may be required for entry (for example student concession card)
- Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult, 16 years or older
- The RZSS reserves the right to refuse admission
No animals, other than Assistance Dogs, are allowed in the Zoo.
In line with current Scottish Executive legislation, Edinburgh Zoo prohibits smoking inside, or at the doorways to, any of our buildings.
Please respect our animal's welfare and your safety by observing the following code of conduct:
- Please do not feed the animals, climb on walls or cross barriers
- Please do not bang on windows at exhibits
- For safety reasons we do not allow barbecues, balls or balloons in the park
- To ensure a pleasant day for all visitors, please do not use radios, scooters, bikes, rollerblades or skates in the Park
