Giant Panda Booking Questions


> I would like to change my panda viewing time/date, how can I do that?

We will do our best to accommodate you when we can, however this is not always possible. We are only able to offer refunds as per our refund policy. There will be a £2.00 administration fee for any changes made. Please contact our visitor service team on [email protected] for more information.

> I am a member of Edinburgh Zoo, how do I get panda viewing tickets?

Our members are allocated a specific quota of panda viewing slots each day. To guarantee viewing members are advised to pre-book online using our members portal. Please note that member's panda tickets are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that the pandas will be on show on any given day.

> I have been given a gift voucher, how do I get panda viewing tickets?

An allocation of tickets will be kept back each day and are available on a first come first served basis. We recommend arriving early on your chosen day. Please note that Panda tickets are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that the pandas will be on show on any given day.

> I am a member from another Zoo how do I get panda viewing tickets?

An allocation of tickets will be kept back each day for walk ups, these are available on a first come first serve basis. We recommend arriving early on your chosen day however please be aware that these are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that the pandas will be on show on any given day.

> When will later dates be available for purchase?

We will announce on our website and social media pages when tickets are available for later dates.

> How do you make a group booking?

Visitors of ten or more paying guests are eligable for a discounted admission rate.  Please check the admissions page for more information. If you would like to make a group booking please contact Reception on 0131 314 0326 or email [email protected]

> How do you enquire about private functions and events?

> Are dogs allowed in the Zoo?

Dogs are not permitted into Edinburgh Zoo as they can cause stress to some of our animals.  We only permit guide-dogs for the visually impaired.

> Are there any lockers available at the Zoo?

We have small number of lockers available for hire each day on a first come first serve basis in our Main Entrance. There is a  £1.00 deposit for this service. Please ask at the front desk for more information about this service.

> Do you have wheelchairs for hire at the Zoo?

A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available for free hire from the main entrance. A £10.00 deposit is required, which is fully refundable on return of the wheelchair to point of collection. These are available on a first come first served basis.
