Happy #penguinawarenessday! Did you know that there are 17 species of penguin? Each unique and beautiful in their own way. Of the 17, five species are endangered, five species are near threatened and four species are vulnerable, leaving only 3 species classified as ‘Least Concern’. Luckily, the king penguin, is one of the three species that is populous and stable though over-fishing is threatening the majority of penguin species so join places such as Twycross Zoo and join the #tzpenguinpledge and only eat sustainably caught fish!
