Fine Dining and Party Nights
Impeccably decorated Mansion House is the ideal venue to hold a formal dinner, celebration evening or drinks reception. Although we have a diverse and delicious range of catering options to suit almost everyone’s tastes; from buffets, canapés and sumptuous three course meals to hearty breakfasts and BBQs, held both inside and out in our expansive gardens, we want your event to be perfect. So, if there is something you particularly want, that’s not included in our menus, just let us know and we will be happy to perfect the recipe while you prepare for your event.

Geddes/Gillespie Rooms, Maximum 90 delegates.

Our Geddes and Gillespie Rooms can be joined together to make one large L shaped function suite that is ideal for family and away days. The two rooms combine to become one magnificent oak panelled room with views across the park and direct access to our gardens. We offer a range of BBQ options that are ideal for these rooms because if it is a nice day we can hold it outside and if not it can easily be moved inside. If younger children are present the can play in the gardens while the adults do the serious work inside. |
Macmillan Room, Maximum 60 delegates.

If you want a room that will not only impress your guests but give you breathtaking views across the Pentland Hills then our Macmillan Room is perfect. It is wonderfully light and airy, decorated in shades of Wedgwood blue and grey, with intricate decorative plasterwork and breathtaking open views right across the zoo. With an antique fireplace and chandelier it’s the ideal location for a drinks reception or celebratory meal. |
The Library, Maximum 20 delegates.

Holding a more intimate celebration and want to give it a touch of class? Our elegant library boardroom can seat up to 20 delegates in sumptuous leather chairs that they will sink straight into. The antique look of the room lends an elegant and luxurious atmosphere that is perfect for board meetings, trustees and anyone else you want to impress, even the in-laws. |
