Penguin Parade
March with the pengiuns every day* at Edinburgh Zoo!
At 2.15pm every day, our keepers open the gate to our world-famous pengiun enclosure and our penguins take a voluntary stroll around the penguin lawn!
This is your chance to get up-close to our gentoo, rockhopper and king penguins as they waddle, run and saunter past. The parade is accompanied by a presenter talk so you can learn all about the animals as you watch them go by. It's an unforgettable experience for the entire family!
* As with all of our interactive animal sessions, the participation of the animals is strictly on a voluntary basis. For this reason, it is impossible to say how many penguins, if any, will choose to join the parade on any given day. In addition, the penguin parade may be cancelled due to inclement weather, icy conditions, or other circumstances beyond Edinburgh Zoo's control.
