History & character
Arrived in Edinburgh Zoo in 2010 from Beekse-Bergen Safari Park in the Netherlands. Sofie is an enthusiastic and inquisitive chimp who often plays with the others and enjoys swinging from ropes. She can also be protective of the other chimps.
