Paul has quite a large face, and is a little grey under his mouth. He often has a few bald patches and scars on his shoulders and back.
History & character
Arrived in Edinburgh Zoo in 2010 from Beekse-Bergen Safari Park in the Netherlands. Paul is a solid, sturdy male who defends his original group in any disputes with the original Edinburgh chimps. He is the biggest threat to Qafzeh and is a very political chimp and as such as integrated well with original Edinburgh chimps. Protective of females from both groups.
