Lucy

Appearance: Lucy is a very dark chimp, fairly round in shape. She has piercing eyes and ears that sit quite high on her head. History and Character: Lucy was born at Edinburgh Zoo and is a mother within the group. Her son Liberius was her first youngster to survive past the age of 5 years old, and hence she is fairly protective of him. She prefers to be near him and always looks out for him. If he gets himself into a bit of trouble, she usually gets involved to sort it out. She can often be seen staring longingly at other chimps when they are eating, and is usually successful in making them give her some food!
