Louis

Appearance: Louis has a thick glossy coat, with a grey back and a grey beard. History and Character: Louis is our third wild-born chimp. He enjoys spending time with David – they are firm allies and usually stick together when disputes within the group occur. Even though Qafzeh is currently the alpha male, Louis is still one of the first to investigate new experiences (such as a novel enrichment item) and keeps Qafzeh on his toes with regular morning displays. He enjoys spending time with the youngsters and can often be seen playing with Liberius, teaching him valuable lessons in chimp life. Go back to Meet Our Chimps |
