Features of  Budongo Trail

KindiaClimbing

The Budongo Trail facility is full of interesting things to see and do!  Its features include:

  • Huge indoor-outdoor environment that can house up to 40 chimps

  • Outdoor climbing and vegetation area that provides fun, foraging, and exercise for the chimps, and stimulates the chimps to use and show natural physical, social and mental behaviours that you would see in wild communities of chimps

  • Network of indoor rooms for the chimps with different environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and lighting, so each can have a preferred "hangout"

  • Areas for visitors with viewing galleries, plasma screens, interactive displays, murals and live plants

  • Lecture theatre and boardroom

  • Interactive games, statues, tools the chimps use, and much more!
