Woodlands
Woodlands have too many trees to be considered grasslands and tend to be drier and more seasonal than rainforests. 'Woodlands' is used to descibe a number of habitats from hot, arid African woodland, through the more familiar temperate woodlands of Europe to the cold, coniferous taiga forests of the far north.
