Tropical Rainforests
Rainforests have heavy rainfall and are found near to the equator, and as such are warm all year round.
They are characterised by dense, multi-layered forests which are filled with an incredible diversity of species.
The vast rainforests of South America, central Africa and south-east Asia have similar, but not always closely related species within them.
