Oceans & Wetlands
This 'habitat' is defined by the dominance of water within it. It is really a collection of very different habitats from the huge salty oceans and seas of the world through lakes and rivers to the waterlogged soils of the swamps and marshes.
Watery habitats are home to an amazing number and diversity of species which are considerably less well known than their terrestrial counterparts.
