Wild Bus – Royal Zoological Society of Scotland Centenary Tour

Wild BusThe RZSS Wild Bus travelled to schools and community groups throughout Scotland, between April 2009 and April 2010.  It also appeared at some of the summer's major events. 

The restored, re-branded 1975 Leyland double-decker brough enthralling activities and exhibits to the people of Scotland, with a particular focus on rainforests.  There was also guest appearances by some of the smaller animals from Edinburgh Zoo for the animal handling sessions.

Our team explained more about the key conservation, research and education work of the RZSS.  The Wild Bus made its first appearance at the Edinburgh International Science Festival on 18 March, 2009.
